Fat Bike Promotion

Written on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 about Bike Sale, Bikes, Fat Bikes, Specials, Trek Bikes

Is your New Year`s resolution to get fat? Probably not; most people’s resolutions are the reverse. If your thinking more along the lines of “ride fat” then we have the bikes for you! The fat bike riding this year has been awesome with lots of snow, not much ice and not too cold. If you haven’t tried it yet we rent fat bikes so come give one a try; it’s a hoot!

Trek’s Farley 5 – the best bang for the buck in fat bikes.

We have stock on the full line of Trek fat bikes including the awesome bang for the buck Farley 5. If you get to the mountains a lot or like to use a fat bike in any of the other four seasons then the Farley 7 with a suspension fork is a great option. Want lighter then the carbon-framed Farley 9.6 is a big step up. If you want the ultimate in fat bikes then look no further than the Farley 9.8 with a full carbon frame/fork, carbon cranks, carbon rims, carbon handlebar and a dropper post…not much to upgrade here.

Trek Farley 9.8…as good as it gets in fat bikes.

We are also celebrating the New Year with a fat bike promotion. Buy an in-stock fat bike and get a Free Bontrager Line Dropper Post Or Free 45NRTH XL Studded-Up Tires (Gripstuds on the Farley 9.6 and 9.8). That’s up to a $378.00 value. Details in store so drop by. The 45NRTH XL and Gripstuds studs mean you’re prepared for anything and the Bontrager dropper is one of the few that can handle winter temperatures

Dropper Post or Studs…you decide.

During Edmonton winters we inevitably get a few good warm and freeze cycles and the trails get icier so studs are a huge help. Similarly, when riding trails in snow a dropper post is a big help for stability but also for just getting on and off. Which option, the studs or the post would you choose? That’s a tough one but it’s free so no stress there!
